In 2005, the movie with "Chumazik" appeared also in the English-language Internet segment, presented as "an interview with Russian miners about the accident at the mine." [1] After the information about the death of Chumazik spread in the network in 2008, the journalists of the television company "Tact" found the hero of the Internet and shot a story that was shown on local television.
It turned out that Chumazik lives under Kursk with his mother, his real name is Yuri Anatolyevich Tatarenkov, he is 37 years old, since childhood he has cerebral palsy, his coordination of movements has been disrupted, and he can not really speak. In a well-known clip, he was not at all drunk, and his face was stained due to the fact that he often falls to the ground because of his illness.
Subsequently, in the runet was announced (in particular, "Komsomolskaya Pravda" and site fotozhaba.com [2]) fundraising in favor of Yuri Tatarenkov. Proposals to help Chumazik materially fell from all over the country, mainly with the motivation: "We did not know; we are ashamed. " For a portion of this money, Jure was bought gifts - clothes, DVD-player and cartoons. The principal amount was transferred to his mother's account.
